Wakiso Comprehensive

A faith-centered health training institution nestled in the heart of Wakiso, Uganda. Established in 2019, the institution aims to support efforts of the government of Uganda in training middle level health professionals that will serve the rural populations and provide quality primary health care services.

ABOUT US

Wakiso Comprehensive Institute of Health Sciences (WACIHS) is a Private Health Training Institution Fully Licensed by The Ministry of Education and Sports under HET with License No. MOES/HET/2008 on 1st January 2022 to offer Certificate in Nursing and Certificate in Midwifery programs and also Licensed to offer Diploma in Nursing & Diploma in Midwifery Extension Programs. The Institute also accorded the status of an Examination Centre No. U094 by the National/Examination Body Uganda Nurses and Examination Board (UNMEB)

Our Certificate in Nursing program provides foundational training in nursing principles, practices, and skills. Students learn to deliver high-quality patient care, promote health and wellness, and work effectively in healthcare teams.

Our Diploma in Nursing Extension Program is designed for Enrolled Nurses (ENs) who want to upgrade their qualifications and become Registered Nurses (RNs). The program builds on the student's existing knowledge and experience, providing advanced training in nursing principles, practices, and leadership.
